Would they put a put a judgement on my credit ???
Or would it further than that ?

Not able to make payments for three months due to loosing my job and had to move out of the state due to not having a place to live

Yes they will find you and repo it espcially since it's more then 3 months past due. Then they will sale the car for next to nothing and sue you for the balance. They will put a judgement against you and it wiill really mess up your credit.

It doesn't matter what state you move too if your not making your car payments You owe the real owner {The bank} money untill its paid off and if your not paying they will come for the car.

YES its a huge black mark on your credit report as is any forfeiture for non payment.

Sorry you lost your job.

It doesn't matter where you live, they will find you and will reposess your vehicle.... Call the company that holds your loan and explain that you lost your job and had to move.... They may defer your past due payments to the end of the term of the loan making you current again....

You CAN'T license the car in another state without re-titling it in that state. To do that, you need the title from the current state. The finance company will not release the title until they secure a lien on the new title. Legally, their claim is valid nationwide.

do not be shock if you look out one day and the car is gone -- the arm of the credit is very long!!!
