Humans are born humans. I've never heard a theory stating that humans are born animals. My son was human when he was born.
If you're talking about evolution, then, although I don't believe in evolution (nor do I disbelieve it), I don't think it's just a simple matter of "an idiot comes up with a new theory," and "another idiot believes him," but rather evidence is found, and a theory is formed based on that evidence. As far as people shifting that theory to being born gay, I've never heard that one. I thought they were still going with the theory of evolution, and the idea that people are born gay was a seperate belief. That one, however, I DO believe, just as I believe a person is born straight. Do you think you could choose to be gay if you wanted to? I know I couldn't.
In general, I think it'd be a good idea to have a solid grasp on a theory before labelling the people who advocate it as "idiots." It serves your argument well to know the subject at hand, rather than just declaring certain people are "idiots," lest you don't mind if you end up looking like one yourself.
EDIT: Why would it not be okay to go against "God's theories?" I didn't know God had theories, but rather absolute truths. In either case, it's more foolish to regard your beliefs as being unquestionably true without ever exploring any other ideas in order to be certain that you're not, perhaps, being misguided by anybody. The Bible never said the Anti-Christ would have horns and a pitchfork, and if you prefer to live under a veil and not see the forest for the trees, perhaps the truth will elude you. None are so blind as those who refuse to see. As for me, I admit that I don't know the truth. I don't follow the Bible. I don't disregard it as being false, and I don't regard it as fact.

Theories are ideas that have some evidence to back them up but not enough evidence to make them fact. Alot of science is based on theory. Evolution, death of the dinosaurs, the ice age, much of what we know about space and the origin of Earth. But some people have faith in science the same way that some people have faith in God. They blindly listen to anything that is taught out of a text book, without questioning it because they believe it is is fact. Athiests call us Christians idiots too :(

Theories are just that, THEORIES. It is someones belief brought to life and shared with the world. We (humans) have a choice whether we choose to believe or not believe in the authors theories. They are theories because there is not factual evidence or proof of the authors thoughts or belief. Knowing something is very different from assuming. I know my Heavenly Father created me because I feel the connection, I see his work in my life, he speaks to me in his word (The Bible), I have seen his miracles in my life, and he answers my prayers just to list a few facts which proves he really exists.

~because its easier to agree with someone than to disagree.
if ur confident, others will see u as confident, if u dont think much of urself, how can u expect others to? people are prone to suggestion.
~because if a man with a PHD says something in a suit with fancy words, its easy to agree
~because our school system teaches us to memorize information, not how to learn. no one knows how to make an opinion, because no one is taught how, we just are taught to memorize the opinions of others. we are never even taught to understand tolerance, or equality, we are just taught to accept these ideas without understanding them, or learning why they are true.
~people go with their "gut instinct" an initial reaction to something, or feeling u get is not enough to support an opinion, but many people go with their initial reaction, and never question its legitimacy. its scary, because first impressions, are 100% not the whole picture, and 99% allways incorrect.
~ people borrow the opinions of others. often people acept what others say with out reserching, or finding out something for themselevs. always listen, but dont forget ur grains of salt, and to do footwork on ur own
~lastly, its always the ones who dont know what their talking about who speak the loudest, the ones who listen know better â¥

That's an interesting theory. Have you found anyone to believe it yet? Or others to support it?
