I find it very funny that they actually think we care what they're saying! I mean they speak from such experience of tournaments won and tournaments quaified for! NOT

You're right.

What makes them think they have the right to tell us how bad we are when we already bloody well know and just because there have been one or two great managers who just so happened to be Scots they think this qualifies all Scots as experts in the game.

You have got to laugh at a nation who's idea of footballing success is getting within two places of England in the FIFA rankings.

Would i call england bad? No, just in a slump. They have talent, world class talent, they just need to get it together. Robinson is a very talented goal keeper, Cole and Carragher are great defenders, Gerrard one of the best mid fielders in the world, and decent strikers. I dont think Rooney and Owen are that great, but they are still decent. England is just in a slump, happens to every team. I dont know why it's being made into such a big deal.

The Scots seem to understand the game better than most Englishmen. Just look at your greatest club managers over the past 40 years. But anyway, this is the problem with the English when it comes to football - they really don't care what anyone else thinks because, despite all the evidence to the contrary, they think they know it all!
When will they learn!?!

difference is we don't expect to win everything just because our media thinks we should. we accept we are a mediocre team ( just like England actually ) and we don't live in the past IE 1966 and all that, that your commentators harp on and on about. having said that i do enjoy watching England. their commentators are a treat, especially the kegan one. what was it again. oh yes theres only one team who looks like scoring now. arrogant prick that he was.

terry h that's an even better one than the kegan one. you obviously don't watch England on TV. and my god the sun practically fights the second world war every time England play Germany

Ironic, but also typical of SOME of the Scottish people that seem to revel in others misfortunes more then analysing their own failings. They seem to mention 66 more then any Englishman I know, and then accuse us of never letting it drop.
