Who else will shed a silent tear at Christmas,

For whatever reason, personal, or not ?

Yes I will for sure...
My mom is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's and doesn't even know Christmas is coming, and can't remember that when I do tell her...

Also, my husband hasn't seen his own daughter since 1997, and that 10 years is so much to do without...
She moved to a different state and hasn't ever come back to see us or even call us...
We have no idea how she is or what she is doing...
That's hateful...
My husband still grieves...

I love all my children equally, of course I only have one child. Now being a parent I can actually say that I would love all my kids equally but not in the same way. Does that make sense. One child may have one interest that I favor more than the other, but then the other child may be better at something else that I do. I think there is a place in your heart for all your kids. I wish I had more but I dont and I still love the one I've got, no more or no less.

I always cry at Xmas, and not silent tears either. I'm just saddened by the fact that such a stupid greedy unholy day is celebrated by so many otherwise-sane people.
