The Intel X38 chipset is the same in ANY motherboard. Motherboard makers just vary in the implementation of the features. An example would be implementation of ddr2 support only, ddr3 only or both (but to be used one at a time). Foxconn's X38A has 6DIMM slots, 4 for ddr2 and 2 for ddr3.
