In my 6th grade class, we have to write a Christmas poem. It has to go like Twas the Night Before Christmas's rhyme pattern. It can be about anything Christmas-related though. Does anyone have any ideas for a funny poem about Christmas? I want a hilarious idea.

No offense meant, and without strictly doing your homework for you,,,,You might think of all the OOOPS that can and do happen, EVEN without bringing Santa into it.

Certainly you can theme it as Night before, even plagarising.

Twas the night before Christmas, Mom was "Fixing her hair, While DAD stood in the doorway with an obvious stare.
They were late for a party, and thought us asleep, but they didn't know we were all set to Creep,
"To the Closets; garage," I exclaimed with shout, hearing the door slam, I knew they'd gone out.
We scrambled and jostled to be the first one,
To find the presents, tagged for for our fun.
In the middle of shredding the neat tended wrappings,
we all knew good and well That we should have been "napping"

When what to my ears came an ominous sound

Mom had returned for a lost purse, she found.

She noticed a paper trail, so colored and bright, and exclaimed
quite loudly

This better be "GOOD NIGHT"

Etc. Etc Etc

Good Luck , and Merry Christmas

You can use this for ideas..but not as your homework.... Here's mine...

'Twas the night before Christmas,
as I laid in my appartment, without a house.
Santa had forgotten me,
Not a Jingling Bell was ringing...only Minnie Mouse.
(was it because I couldn't leave milk out?)
Would Santa break and enter;
for I had not a chimney?
Apparently so,
there was a thing he did give me.
I woke the next morning,
opened a gift from the saint.
Out of kindness,
he gave my expression paint.
So, I drew him a picture;
and sent it quaintly.
Among my greatest,
it ranks, to me.
At it's bottom: "Love you dad,"
"Have you, thankfully"
