You must be from up north. I usually go for pot roast, conch chowder or homemade stew, homemade spaghetti with Italian sausage. Something that will stick to my ribs. French toast does sound inviting. Oh yeah, with strawberry topping, man I'm hungry. Now look what you've done. hahahaha
Have you ever had IHOP's rooty tooty fresh and fruity? Yummy. Thats the only way I can eat pancakes, topped with strawberry's and cool whip

I don't need to wait for a storm to crave French toast. It's a breakfast favorite of mine and has been ever since I was a kid. Some of the recipes sound great.

We have french toast in the morning and then put a big pot of chili on to simmer. Sure smells good. Just picked up the groceries too.

I have lived through many storms, but have yet to have French Toast. I usually have hot chocolate, and toast with butter or peanut butter when it storms. Makes me feel great!

I am making french toast tonite for supper. Since we are expecting a nor'easter tonite, thats a real comfort food for us. A nice cup of hot tea and french toast that I stuff with cream cheese and tonite also with cranberries, fresh, and its gourmet.sometimes I add chopped pecans to the cream cheese and cranberries, its better than a steak!

We have a shot of cheap Mexican brandy and pray for more rain. Never heard of the French toast story, do you know my friend in PA? I'll ask her.

I wish I did. I haven't had french toast in ages. It might storm tomorrow, so maybe it will be the day!
