Read a story in the paper yesterday of a person that used to earn tonnes of money, had a good job, owned a nice home and had a lovely family but now sleeps on a park bench because they lived beyond their means and eventually lost all, including the loving family.
Could it happen to you?

It's a possibility. Only a paycheck or two away if something were to happen.

Anyone can lose their job, and so risk losing their home. People could become homeless for other reasons though - like if the house caught fire, or there was a flood or something, or a split from a partner. Not everybody is lucky enough to have friends and family to put them up. nothing should be taken for granted in this life - every little luxury should be appreciated - like having a shower, a warm bed. and hot food. Sadly not everybody has such luxuries - some people all they have is a cold concrete floor and smelly clothes.

Your $8K won't final long adequate on your plan to artwork. you in all probability can't get any genuine artwork till you're 18, except you have a "point mom" with connections. somebody to sign releases, and contracts.. seems such as you desire to be a mistress. it incredibly is in simple terms non everlasting artwork, and has no destiny. in case you desire to artwork as an escort till you detect a "sugar daddy", you nevertheless could be 18. There are plenty extra fashions than modeling jobs. you would be fortunate if homeless is the worst that occurs. You stand out the place you reside now, you will not stand out in enormous apple. there is too many superb people there now.

From the day I initiated my divorce I have realized how precariously close I am to being homeless. With my first child support check I bought a 2 room tent...it was for camping but in my heart I know it is better than a car if it ever gets to that.

I'd suggest you over simplified their situation.

Losing your "family" is often a sign that you have some addiction like drugs, alcohol, gambling etc... that made you put feeding the addiction above all other interests. People like this often lose their jobs first simply because they miss assignments or don't show up. This causes financial difficulties which strain the relationship (in addition to the strains caused by irresponsibilities in family duties as well as spending what little money is left to feed the addcition).

So in short my answer is "no, I don't think it likely".
