True enough to say, do and feel what I need for myself without trying to step on any toes. And true enough not to rip myself to shreds if it happens anyway. You're on point, though: it gets better as one gets older.

Age does help. I can remember somewhere around my late 30's when I really started listening to that little voice inside me. It could be called a gut level reaction, but that sounds so male-lol. That feeling helped me a lot in my career as a psych nurse. I heard somewhere that you will receive what you need when you need it most. So far-that's been true.

As true as I possibly can be. I would love to tell you that I am always right of heart and straight of mind. I would love to tell you that I base every choice with a equal part logic and emotion...but, I am far too quirky for such.
