It is not wise to take pictures of yourself for any kind of acting/modeling job, as it will take forever to get it "just right". That's what professionals are for (and I'm not talking about the ones at the department stores, who got their training from a three-hour seminar). If you're serious about modeling, contact a local agency and ask for advice (if you just send your homemade photo, I guarantee it'll be rejected). Even a half-way decent professional will cost $150-300 for great "head" and "body" shots, though not all will know how to "arrange" you specifically for modeling (however, if you're just starting out, that's not important; the agencies will only want to see what you look like, and, if they like what they see, then they'll take the next step).

keep moving, posing always look somwhat fake, so dance around u always get some cool shots that way

you aren't supposed to pose when you model. it's all about being natural.
