I have a small orchid plant an I left to go on my honeymoon and didn't get to water it for week. I returned home an the blossoms fell of but the roots are fat and green. As soon as I got home I watered it and gave it some additional sunlight.(not sure if that was bad or good) Ive never had an orchid before and I'm not much of a green thumb so I need some help here...

The main thing that kills orchids is OVER watering! The blossoms fell off because of lack of sun. In direct not direct! And make sure your using fertilizer for orchids! Good luck.

i would speak to someone at a nursery but it seems that the plant is still alive becuase the roots are doing fine.
Just don't overwater it!!

Good luck and congrats on your wedding.

cut the dead tips of the blossom and watch it grow. Just don't cut the Main Big Part. It's kinda like cut the arms and it will grow. If you cut sumone's head off their pretty much dead. lol

Normal life cycle. They usually bloom once a year in spring. some varieties bloom twice. sounds like you're doing fine. congrats.
