10 things you will never understand about life?

I have a school project on 10 things i will never understand about life. I need some ideas. please help!

here are the 10 things is chose: 1. How come people are never satisfied with what they have?
2. Why can't people live in peace with each other no matter what religion, race etc.? 3. Why Do people have to be so mean 4. Why do people some/drink when they know its bad for them? 5. Why does life seem like it's going by so fast but one minute could seem like forever? 6. Is there life after death?
I won't do the rest..to much typing lol.

But thanks to everyone who helped...im not going to choose a best answer since i used a lot from a whole bunch of different people :]

1) Why some people are so mean. 2) Why innocent children have to suffer. 3) How exactly birds know to fly south and come back to the same location in the spring. 4) Why religious people fight wars in the name of religion. 5) How two people can love each other enough to marry and have children then end up hating each other and destroy their family.

I can give you my list ... but it's not ten things, really ...
I will never understand why people can't take care of and/or 'help' each other out financially and emotionally for 'no reason' except it's not 'nice' to see someone who is worse off.
I will never understand why people feel that 'getting together with family' for the 'high holidays' like Thanksgiving and Christmas are so 'wonderful' but they don't see them often the rest of the year.
I will never understand why people get married BEFORE they know that this is the 'one and only one' person they want to spend the rest of their lives with. (I've been married four times, but FINALLY got it RIGHT!)
