I play sims 2 PETS all the time and now when i try to use to play it its giving me problems?

I try to play sims 2 pets that i have installed already and now it is asking me to make sure that the cd its in the correct drive and to click ok to continue and after doing that and clicking ok it does not do anything, HELP?

i would suggest shutting down your computer and then restarting it up again. if it isn't working then i would either delete it and then reinstall it or i would delete it and then place it on the computer again. if none of those work then call a computer tech as soon as possible. hope this helps.

I know this is a stupid question, but is your PETS cd in the drive? Double check. You'd be surprised, but a lot of people put it in the wrong drive or don't have the cd in the drive in the first place.

Or....make sure you have the correct disk in to play. If you just have Sims 2 and Pets (no other expansion packs or stuff packs installed) then make sure you're using the PETS disk.

You can also check your disk drive with a different game to see if it's actually working. If you can't get another game to load, it could be your disk drive is on it's way out and will need replacing soon.
