An obtuse triangle has one angle that is greater than 90 degrees but less than 180. Construct a line from the obtuse angle to the opposite side of the triange that forms a right angle with that side. This will necessarily divide the obtuse angle into two acute angles and form two right triangles.

Then bisect the right angles on the right triangles and extend tie bisector to the opposite sides. The result will be four acute triangles.

An obtuse angle already has 2 acute sides and 2 is so much better than 1, So therefore it's not an obtuse triangle, it's acute.
