It is home-based. Some disabled people do have good days where they can sit in a chair long enough to do some work and earn additional income. Would love to get an outside job if I could. But it would certainly help just to earn a couple of hundred extra ea. mo. Before being disabled because of severe R. Arthritis, etc., I earned a good income and paid in years of Social Security, I'm not just a mucher using the system....

no if you are able to earn you do not need ssi disability!!! catch 22!!!

You can earn as much as you want. What you actually want to know is what income will result in limiting what you can collect form SSI. The correct answer is, if you are CAPABLE of earning enough to affect SSI, you should not be receiving SSI to begin with.

it depends, you need to call ssi office, they have plans for people getting off of ssi and going back to work,

no because ssi is for living expenses because there is no income coming in.
