Hi guys i am interested in taking a banking and finance degree but i am not sure what can it led me to. can someone give me some seriously good answer? :) thanks

It seems obvious to me that it can lead to a job in banking and finance. This can be anything from a loan officer to risk management to slales or trading to investment banking.

Finance jobs are in high demand. Students from the top schools (e.g., WHarton, UC-Berkeley, MIT) are in high demand and get six figure offers from prestigious I-Banks like Goldman Sachs. Students at less selective schools do not do nearly as well, but get higher paying jobs than the average student at the same university.

You might also want to consider NASD certification as an add-on, to open a few more doors.

I previously worked at Charles Schwab, as a software developer. I'm at a point where I'm more interested in getting a great employer, than a great job - the great job is a consequence of getting a great employer. So I have considered NASD certification to help open a few more doors.
