I had it done 10 weeks ago, D'...left hand. There's still a lot of healing going on inside and I have problems with sensitivity around the incision itself.. but it's worth it now the the nerve has been released and my hand isn't constantly going to sleep. That had become pure hell and interfered with just about everything.

I had one wrist done in 1993. After the surgery they gave me a Vicodin Rx for pain. It made me feel so nauseated that I waited to see how bad it would hurt without any painkillers, and it wasn't bad at all, not bad enough to suffer being nauseated on Vicodin! The symptoms didn't totally go away, but they were relieved immensely.

I had not only carpal tunnel but trigger fingers and thumbs. I am so glad I had the surgery. I could not sleep nights because of the tingling and the horrendous pain. I had it done three years ago and am sooooooooo glad I did.

I had my right wrist done last Christmas and the left one done the year before that.I had very little pain after surgery and have none now that I am healed up. It is the best thing I could have done.

I claim to be the poster child for it. It was so great to sleep through the night, hold something, drive, on and on. There is a little discomfort. and for a few days there are some things that are difficult to do. Combing hair and other personal things. Buy I highly recommend it.

I had it on both hands about 15 years ago and I am still very pleased with the results. The pain was minimal for me.

I would be interested in knowing what the symptoms of this are... my right thumb has either been numb or tingling for a week now! When it's not numb it hurts like the dickens!
