My ipod screen is only showing the Apple icon and nothing else. I can't turn it off and it won't charge. I even tried to hook it up to the computer--to restore it, but nothing's working! Can someone help me?!

your ipod is broken but I'm sure if you take it to the place you got it from they can fix it. I had this happen to my ipod before so i think i know what I'm talking about.

You must hold down with your fingers the cneter of the white wheel and the above where it says menue. Hold it down for about 5 seconds. It should recharge. If not bring it back to the store if you have insurance on a replacement take it back to Apple store and they will replace it for free. Knowing from experience. It happen to me.

It sounds like you just need to reset your iPod. My Nano did this sort of thing a couple of times in the past and a simple reset cured it. I herd after 2 years of haveing it it will die and you cant ever recharge it you have to get a new one(it a way of makeing money) Go to the apple store and ask about it

it's either restarting, charging, or it's having a fit.
try holding the center and menu button for 5 seconds. it should restart.

Let it run out of battery, then charge it up. It probably just froze

try to press the middle and up at the same time and leave it press. if it doesnt work hit me back
