Hello,
This place would make some people run screaming out of here LOL!
We usually have the tv on that we fall asleep by. A radio or two is on 24/7 for the birds (birds in two different spots int he house). Lights are on in three different places 24/7 for the plants at this time of the year.
The kids are on day time schedules for school, Mr. is on graveyard, I am on both (daytime, night time schedule) which is entertaining at best.

I have tried the quiet and darkness, doesn't work for me. I need lots of stimulation even in my sleep.....

i like a tiny light on, but my husband is a big o'l scaredy kat. his great aunt would say that you invite the devil/evil spirits with a dark house....so to always make sure to keep one light. in our house its the bathroom light which drives me nuts because i have to sleep on my side to stay away from the bright light.
