I am 19 years old and the guy I've been interested in has asked me out. He's 23 years old and well, he's got a perfect body. I have gained some weight due to some health issues. I am 155-160 pounds now and I'm 5' 6 tall. I don't like the way my arms, back, stomach and butt look (Especially stomach). I was thinking about wearing some jeans and some baggy T-shirt to hide the things I don't like. What do you think? Or is that a no-no? I doubt we're going to any fancy place....just a cafe or something

I would still straighten my hair and wear some make up though....

wearing baggy clothes only makes you look bigger. wear something that's not tight-fitting but definitely not loose fitting..

155-160 for 5'6" is pretty much a healthy "BMI" I weigh 169 and I'm the same height as you. I have alot of areas on me that I don't like either. But baggy clothes will only make you look larger than you want to. Wear pants that compliment your shape...for example, I have a big butt and hips/thighs, so I wear tight pants that flare a bit on the bottom to compliment my thighs. Wearing shirts that are too tight and make you bulge, is extremely bad! Wear a looser top than the pants...but not baggy. Don't wear a sphagetti strap shirt or anything, just a dress top that isn't too tight, but casual.

Sorry hope this helped some.

First of all, at 5'6" and 155 lbs, you are not fat, you're normal. Be proud of your body & wear clothes that accentuate what you think to be your best parts. If you have a noticable chest, then wear a shirt that shows a little cleavage, not too much though or you'll look kinda loose. Trust me, if you show just enough cleavage he won't be noticing much else. DO NOT wear loose baggy clothes, even though you are not fat, baggy clothes will make you look HUGE. Just be yourself, go out and find a sexy outfit that you are happy with and comfortable in, so you can be yourself on the date. Try lots of outfits on... sometimes things that look weird on a hanger, look great when you put them on!!!

Don't do that! It will let him know that you are self-conscious and that will be a turn off. Wear fitted clothes, go to Macy's, or Dillards, and get some of their cute, fitted clothes. You can find some great clothes on sale at Steinmart. I think you should also watch "What Not To Wear" on TLC. That gives you a lot of tips for what to wear. And, most of the people on their wear baggy clothes so their family and friends entered her to go to the fashion police.

find an outfit that you feel good in, if that means going and buying a new one, then do it. This date will boost your self-confidence, you need this. Don't go in just a baggy t-shirt. If you look like you care, you will look 10 times better. Have fun on your date.

Dress nicely. Dress for your shape. Find a flattering, nice shirt and wear that with jeans and nice shoes. You sound like you're a perfectly healthy weight. You don't need to be skeletal to be beautiful.

Okay, I am younger than you, but listen anyway :)

If he is really interested in YOU he won't care. He asked you out just how you are. Don't worry about how you look. Sure, looks matter, but they shouldn't stop you from doing things that you love. And somethinga guy seems to be able to sense is CONFIDENCE. If you are insecure in how you look, that is not confidence. :)

Would you rather go out with a guy who needs you to tell him he looks fine or would you rather go out with a guy who is confident in himself and his apperance?

No matter what, what you are feeling on the inside show on the outside.

If he asked you out he obviously likes you as you are. Wear whatever feels comfortable, but preferably something stylish and flattering. Good luck x
