The living bacteria that thrive on your body's oil and sweat glands are constantly active. Basically, the bacteria multiply and their activity and waste products are what cause B.O., bad breath, etc. Believe it or not, bacteria production actually increases in a hot shower because bacteria thrive and multiply faster in dark, damp, hot environments.
So think about this. If you take a shower at night, that leaves approximately 8 to 12 to 15 hours for the bacteria to do their thing on your body during the course of the night. Then you have to go the whole day at work or school, (approximately another 10 hours), while the bacteria are having a field day on the accumulated dirt, sweat and oil that is on your body from the previous night.
The reason you take baths/showers is to keep from stinking up the place, unless you enjoy not having any friends and being known as the "Smelly kid in class". So wouldn't you want to have as much time as you can to smell good while you are in public? Therefore, taking a shower in the morning gives you more time during the course of the day to smell fresh and clean.

It depends. I like to take showers at night before I go to bed, because I like to go to bed as clean and fresh as possible. Also, a shower at night really relaxes and refreshes you after a day of work.
When I took my showers in the morning, I felt awake and ready for the day. I also like people who smell shower fresh in the morning.
But, if I had to make a choice, I would take a shower at night, because you just don't get as dirty sleeping as you do running around and sweating all day.

I think it's better to take a bath after you wake up in the morning. A nice cold shower can really wake you up!

At night....because in the morning, you JUST took a shower, and then you go outside (to school or work) and you are more likely to get sick.

personal preference, doesn't really matter as long as you take one sometime. I like it at night because I can't sleep when I'm dirty.
