if you're already going the speed limit and someone's behind you in the fast lane honking and tailing you to get you to move or go faster, do you speed up or ignore them? i ignore them. i know that there's this "fast" lane, but if i'm already going the speed limit, i'm not going to speed up or move over so that you can start speeding. that's not what that lane is for.

If I can move to the next lane I will do, but if they come out of nowhere and are right up my a** I make them wait and will stay at the speed I am going. I HATE tailgaters, its the one thing that stresses me out when I'm driving, otherwise I'm chilled out.
One thing I will say though, if you deliberately ignore them and they get would up it could lead to a nasty dose of road rage. Its usually better just to let them past and if they get a speeding ticket its their fault. It is annoying though.

GET OUT OF THE FAST LANE! If you want to travel the speed limit get in the other lane, you are causing a hazardous driving condition by letting all the good drivers get stuck behind you.

Keep right except to pass.
