he is a former manchester united/real madrid soccer star.he proved himself as the best freekick taker in thye world.
currently,he is enjoying retirement at the los angeles galaxies.

now any visionary would see that he would be at least 21 points each game in the nfl- i mean, being the best kicker in the world,he would take the from 75+ yards.

just a thought.

NFL??? wat no one outside americas even heard of that and in my opion being english u can take david beckham he is overated and playing in a mickey mouse league that even ebbsfleet could win. The only good think he's ever done is his goal against greece and he isnt worth 5 david bentleys.

I honeslty don't think anyone can kick field goals from 75+ yards on a consistent basis. He probably has the leg for it, but consistency is what matters.

The only guy I know that can hit from that guy is Martin Gramatica, who in college made a 77-yarder in practice. He didn't even make it in the NFL, I mean he was just signed by someone, but his accuracy is no good which is all that matters.

Guys like Robbie Gould are succesful because although they don't have a strong leg, they are accurate.

get a life, this is nfl as to england having a semi-great soccer player. NFL does not need someone who can run and kick and has never use his hands to play a sport, his life revolves around soccer, and to football you use your hands and you get around more, it's commen sence, i mean, don't bother with saying something like, should a-rod play tennis, it's the same this as this, and no, i think david beckham should not play football for the nfl.

No NFL team can afford the kind of salary he is earning today playing soccer, and I doubt any of the NFL teams got a hot on him.

He would never play that poor excuse for football you have over there. How you can call a game football when nobody kicks the ball is beyond me.

Take a deep breath and realize that AMERICA DOES NOT NEED BECKAM.

We were tricked into how good he is/was at soccer.

The NFL needs no one. Soccer sucks and is too boring to watch.

Let's just say on a hypothetical note he could actually kick it from that distance. Do you have any idea how perfect the weather conditions would have to be for him to be even remotely accurate?
