But how many years will it take for Martin Gaborik to become a "has been" so some fan for some team won't be asking obnoxious questions ad nauseum about how great he is?

Me? I'd say MG is on his 13th minute of fame.

CHRIS - I got it. I haven't finished looking for the data tables required for such a task. I'll let you know in a day or two.

Lots of tools. Little desire.
He'd work well in very few places any more. Maybe in the land of the Blues.
I think there's a special trainers room just for him in Minny.
Some other guy is earning an NHL pension just filling in for him while he is out.
I'm thinking he's at about 11:45 myself Bill.

Well if you mean MarION Gaborik then Keep in Minnesota and be GM or Head Coach in about 10-15 years.

Unfortunately, a long time.

He's an amazing player playing in a system that stifles his style of play.

Personally, I would love to see him on a team that is more suited to his style...like your Flyers. I think Gaborik would flourish in Philadelphia.

Bill - Are you a data nut too? Cyrenaica has over 5,000 Excel tables covering just about every statistical aspect in the NHL - scouts are data nuts, but nothing like him.

I dontr think he will ever become a "has been." He is an unbelievable hockey player who has unfortunately has had some injury problems. If he was on a more offensive minded team like the Leafs or Sabres, i would love to see what he could do

LITY took the words right out of my mouth.

he is the best he is ever going to be in Minnesota, unfortunatly, if he wants to get better, he has to develop his skill with another club.
