all these people, so i deleted their neighborhoods but they keep showing up and becoming friends with my people although they don't live anywhere! how do i delete them once and for good?

I don't know!why don't you like them,you could become Friends with them and fall in love and have woohoo.i married one once and he had shed loads of money and a fantastic job.

You can delete all of the townies (the sims the game came with) by going into the cheat window and typing in "delete all characters". Be careful though, this will delete EVERYONE in your neighborhood. Then you can go back into the game. It will probably recreate new townies though.
I don't think there's any way to get completely free of all townies, unless you download and install a hack. You can check with moreawesomethanyou.com for such a hack or even modthesims2.com.
