In a sentence like this, does the period mark come before or after parenthesis?

I walked to the door (but I didn't see it was closed).

or

I walked to the door (but I didn't see it was closed.)

What about the same sort of thing, but with quotations? Like:

She came into the room, and said "Hi".

or

She came into the room, and said "Hi."

Always end the parenthesis section of your sentence before you end your sentence, so
I walked to the door (but, I didn't see it was closed).

is the correct form. The only exception is if an entire sentence is inside the parenthesis.
With quoted words or spoken words, the end of the sentence is included within the quotation marks, so:
She came into the room and said, "Hi."
is the correct form. There is always a comma separator for the quoted words in a sentence.
She came into the room and asked, "Are you okay?"

What about this example? It's a hidden second sentence that explains the first one, as in a joke:

I want to meet the designer of Candy Crush level 162 and pat him on the back. (With a baseball bat!)

Quotation marks (" ") enclose the words that are said by someone, indicating a direct quote. Remember that all punctuation marks that belong to the quoted sentence are enclosed inside the quotation marks.

In your first example, the period should come after the close parenthesis. (You only put it inside if you have a complete sentence within the parentheses.) See, I did it there! But, the close quotation always comes after the period. Don't ask me why.
