Okay. So here's the scoop. I had a present for my parents, but it kinda fell apart on me (long story), and there's a big snow storm and Christmas is really soon. I need really quick, easy do-it-yourself gifts for my parents. I REALLY need help. Any ideas at all are appreciated.

This would be a great one: Gather old family photos of you, your parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, whoever. Get a photo album and crafty items like ribbon, lace, stamps, etc. Create them a personalized family album/collage just for them. Include captions that are funny, heartfelt, poems, mementos and any memories that are special to you and your parents. You can get everything you need except the photos at Micheals craft store and those are pretty much on every corner these days. The finished gift will mean so much to them and they will ALWAYS cherish it. It also will be relatively inexpensive to make and can take anywhere from an afternoon to a couple of days, depending on how much time you want to spend on it.

How about a gift certificate just for the two of them to nice local restaurant? If you have a credit card then you could probably purchase it on-line or over the phone and wouldn't have to venture out into the snow storm. Otherwise, you could cook them dinner and take care of all the prep and then clean up after-wards. Most all parents are appreciative of help around the house so you could help mom with some cleaning or dad with a project...

You could put together a thank you scrap book. Put pictures of you from past holidays thanking them for the gifts you received. You could also put pictures of yourself and your family thanking them at your sport games or if you dance or play in the band, drama, graduations and they go to give you support. Basically it's whatever you can find or think of and want to say thanks.

Give them a gift certificate from yourself to shovel the driveway. Make it a stamp card so that there are a few times of shoveling that you will do.
