MTV was the best in the 80's, now it's that rap & hip hop crap, (I think Headbangers Ball is gone too).

MTV is far from a Music channel! Most of todays "music"..is nothing more than sell out commercial crap....like Fall Out Shelter and My Chemical Suckage!!!!! Good music has true meaning..and you wont find that on MTV...bc they just wanna make money by playing crap that the bands write for fans...Especially all this emo crap.....if u wanna go kill urselfs....please just do it.....and stop complaining and SAYING YOU WILL....thats false advertising man.....i wanna see you panzies kill urselfs and do the world a favor....you want good music.....but just about anything they play on MTV is crap...if u wanna listen to rap....though the only good stuff of that type was the early hip-hop when it was a revolution...just go find it somewhere else!.....And as far as parents complaining....its music..is freedom of expression.....and with all this stuff bout music made my kids kill people....stop blaming the artists for ur lack of parental skills......sorry if i seemed like i was ranting....but it grinds me gears.....:D....lol

The only time I've ever seen MTV play harder rock is on headbangers ball and they only show that once a week on MTV2

mtv...playing rock...hard rock??? I have never heard any hard rock on mtv ever! they play cheesey prep rock like fall out boy and boys like girls, and if you think that is hard rock then you need a reality check,,,,
and if you just made like a typo which is what i think you did, and you meant to say, why DONT they have hard rock, it is because most poeple dont have ann appreciation for it, and they are lame and thinnk its cool to dance around half naked and listen to rap.

At what time are you watching MTV or VH-1? They're always showing some crappy reality or celebrity programme whenever i put one of those channels on.

and seems every time my son passes music channels they're playing rap with half naked women in the videos (nothing a kid should be watching.... oh, and we're far from being "rich".... Just have morals, not money!!!)
