Southwest has some of the cheapest fares--especially if you book in advance. But shop around. You can get some amazing fares if you're willing to fly out of Newark.
I'm concerned about the party itself, though, for two reasons. First, by the time you hit 75, I doubt if anything is much of a surprise anymore. Second, if you do manage to surprise her, there's a chance she could keel over.
Have you some fun in the sun anyway.

I personally look up travel fares on Mobissimo.com, its a travel search engine, it will come up with the cheaper air fares it can find online and then redirect you to the actual webpage where you can purchase the ticket. Also Southwest.com has special fares 49-99 for tickets purchased through the 18th of December. Good Luck and have fun!

I've had great fares with Southwest, but then again I get a discount. Never had a full meal served from them tho.

Skybus. But I think it only takes you to Saint Augustine and a couple of other places. But for my family and a friend (5 people) it was only 35 dollars.
