There is Berkeley in California, Berkeley at Yale, Berkeley in New Jersey and New York (I know those two are associated). Are the other's all associated? I cannot seem to find if the Berkeley I am looking at (New Jersey online) is highly credited or credited at all. I would think that if they are all associated then it would be, but I cannot seem to find that answer. If someone could find me that answer or help me to find it I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you!

The Berkeley in California is actually The University of California -- which his located in Berkeley, CA. This is the best public university in the US and one of the best universities in the world.

The music school in Boston is respected -- but is actually spelled Berklee.

The school that you are asking about is Berkeley College -- and has several locations (NJ. NYC. Yale). It is a For Profit college that is trying to make money on the University of California's good name. You should avoid it like the plague. It is not respected and will not help you get a good job. For Profit colleges usually cost much more than respectable public universities.

I don't think they're at all associated. Berkeley in California is actually University of California at Berkeley; then in Boston, there's Berkeley School of Music. I think it's just a name associated with the location or with some high contributor in the school's history.

I can tell you that the Berkeley School of Music is NOT associated with UCLA; Berkeley "College" in California IS. I greatly doubt the others you mentioned are. But you could certainly determine their affiliations by checking out their websites.
