That is not cheating as you have explained it. Although, by using the term 'resource', I'm led to believe the teacher thinks an 'open Internet' test is the same as an 'open book' test, which is wrong because they are not the same types of tests; an 'open Internet' test provides more data than a textbook.
In any case, the teacher should probably formulate questions that are not easily Google-able and that also require some various forms of computation. That's not hard to do. If the teacher is like a really old man, like over 30, then he might not really know much about the Internet, though.

If you are allowed to use a resource, such as a book, old tests, internet, etc., then I would think any information you could glean from that source could be used on the test. It sounds like the teacher is viewing this "test" as a learning experience for the class. Take the "test" and make 100. Good Luck.

Evidently your teacher has allowed for you to cheat by putting the test online and allowing you to use the internet as a resource! Isn't that something! Teachers advocating cheating!
It's no wonder that the USA is dead last in the world in education!

Yes!
Its cheating. You are allowed to use Internet to access your study related data on the website related to your course work where you can find only the lectures and notes, but if you will access google, you might come in cheating as you can access the answers of your questions from the other websites that wrong being attending the exam.

The instructor can't be so naive that he/she doesn't know that you can Google the questions. If you are allowed to use the Internet as a resource, you are not cheating.

No i say your using your resources because what if yu stumbled across somehting nearly like the answer then you cant call that cheating. Another thing to keep in mind is that why else would your professor allow you to use the internet if he didnt know that some people give answers.

well, i think those questions are not as good since you can find them rightaway. A good question is original and not repeated countless time.
I don't think is cheating, since you were allowed to use the internet. Just make yourself sure that you understand the subject. Maybe it was better to research the question yourself. Some profs want you to research and for others, it is sufficient to find the answer. Even knowing how to use the google better for your purpose is a good sign.

No. Google is a resource, just the same as a textbook.
They will probably word the questions in such a way that a simple Google search might not give you the exact answer that you need.

If you are allowed to use the internet as a resource on your test DURING your test, then it's not cheating.

if the instructor has allowed the "internet" as a resource, Google is part of the internet, so no.
