Phoenix - I love the desert and the city is within easy travel distance to many beautiful mountain areas too. The climate is mild most of the year but very hot in the Summer. I prefer the heat to shoveling snow to get my car out of the driveway in Winter.

Phoenix is full of interesting and generally nice people. There is something for everyone, but I love the relaxed pace and an outdoor lifestyle best. The cost of living in Phoenix is much lower than that of Minneapolis (especially housing). It is a fast growing area and finding employment is fairly easy compared to other large cities in the U.S...

You will enjoy sitting around the pool all day and fishing in the many lakes close at hand. Tubing down the Salt River is another pastime that can't be beat. There are 400 golf courses in the area and beach volleyball at all the parks if you are in the mood. If you are an outdoors oriented person you will love Phoenix.

Minneapolis, but then again I am a bit partial as I already live here.

It is never boring and the summers are great. The winter gets a bit cold, but lately it has been great. Not even that much snow to deal with... This is the first year we will have a white christmas in about 10 years.

I've lived in both. For weather, choose Phoenix. For everything else-culture, shopping, education, medical care, etc-choose Minneapolis.

Phoenix is very hot and has a high crime rate. Minneapolis is cold and is infested with Liberals. So it's the lesser of two evils.
