i had a bubble jet but it would dry out too quickly as i rarely use it.
i am now thinking of buying a inkjet if its any good?

Inkjet cartridges have certain shelf life and as your gut instincts tell you, laserjet toner cartridges last forever bec toner ink powder resides internally.

I recommend HP the original Laserjet manufacturer, and you can find reasonably priced commercial grade HP LASERJETs on Craigslist and EBAY that toner is readily available and reasonably, much cheaper than HP Consumer laserjets.

Inkjet will dry out too. Bubble jet is just a fancy name for inkjet.

If you don't use it that often, take out the cart and put it in a Ziplock (tm) baggie.

Most Canon's that's about it, Epson is the worst because when that happens it goes to the curb, hope that helped.
