I've only been sewing for a few month and I just started having a problem with my bobbin thread. It will sew find for a few minutes then my machine will make a weird noise when I stop and look there is a alot of tangles and loops on the underside of the fabric. I tried changing the needle and rethreading the machine and rethreading the bobbin none of that is helping. It's looking like the thread from the bobbin is coming out of the bobbin case and tangling. When I pull the bobbin out the thread is no longer threaded. Any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it? Thanks.

it is 1) The bobbin is put in upside down There should be a small image showing which way the thread should be going -(clockwise or counter-clockwise) at the bobbin site. Or 2) You are not putting the foot down before you start sewing.

When this happens to me, it's because the thread has slipped out of the little slot in the bobbin case. Make sure you load the bobbin into the case so that the thread is tailing off into your left hand. Get it all the way down into the little slot and give it a tug to make sure it will roll smoothly.

Everyones suggestions are great.. Trouble shoot and try all those.
Maybe try changing your needle?
But more then likely its the "upside down bobbin" or the tension..

1. Your tension is too tight or loose
Check your tension by sewing a zigzag, you should not see any 'loops' on front or back. If loops are on back, tension is too loose, if on front, too tight.
2. You are using cheap thread
Really, this happens, buy quality thread
