I think the real issue is to push an abstinence agenda--and oppose sexual expression.
As you can see by other answers most Christians aren't versed in election. If you would have asked your question in the late 1600's amongst the puritans they would have got the point you were making.

In the Christian faith, everyone is God's child, so those innocent little babies get to go live with God, why would they go to h***? They haven't done anything wrong. And God has no flaws. And we, and many other people of other religions, can be upset because the parents are misusing sex and preventing a little life from coming into this world. Although, sometimes abortion may have to be the answer when a young teenage is raped or such.

It is to my understanding that in Christianity, it is believed that abortion fits into the category of "Thou shall not kill." It is considered a mortal sin, not so much for the baby but for the person undergoing abortion (ive never heard of sending babies to hell before). The purpose of sex is to have children, yet the fuss about it (in ideal theology anyways) is that its being used to fulfill human pleasures in a selfish way rather than the obligation of child birth. Which is understandable in my humble opinion.
Now, I must point out that religion and theology all have flaws in them as there are flaws in humanity. It depends on whether one person believes in "divine law," especially when it comes to condemnation. For the Christian, this is is a sin. For the athiest, or different spiritual/religion, they may think nothing of it. Though ones belief is their own. Every belief is in their rightful places, whether it is a big fuss is more of an opinion, nothing more.

God created us, gave us many chances, got rid of us and brought us back again. He sent Jesus to try to make us understand what love means, taught us to help each other and to support each other. We turned our back on Him and even though He did nothing wrong he took on all our sins and was crucified for it.
God gave us this world and He sent Jesus to help us. We chose to live our lives like we want. God is just watching, I don't think He has flaws, he left us alone to live our lives like we want. We are given a choice and it's "our" choice what we do. To abort a baby is murder, in the Bible murder is wrong and to take your own life is wrong also.
God never sends babies or young children to hell, they are innocent and they have never had the chance to even grow up and make the decision whether to believe or not. God is protecting them in Heaven.

Read up on your subject matter so you can ask a proper question. There is no fundamental flaw in God. God has no law of election in terms of how you understand it. Babies don't go to hell, but to heaven. We are upset not because babies go somewhere, but that they are cheated of the right to life that the mother and abortionist enjoy. Selfish people that they are. God bless.

No, I think the Christian objection is probably more closely related to their fundamental belief that God loves Life, and their interpretation of the Commandment against Murder including what they perceive as the casual elimination of what they consider an innocent Human Life.

I never thought that. I think God looks at them as one he already saved through Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross. When they are aware of the salvation message then they have the choice in whether to accept it or not.

Isn't it a part of the whole christian mythos that unbaptized babies can not get in to heaven, them being tarnished with the 'original sin'? Not to hell maybe, I haven't heard that...see when most christians get asked that they:
a. get tight lipped
b. get angry
c. change the subject
c. get tight lipped, angry then change the subject
At least the ones I have asked.
