Totally up to you on what to do but you could either hold a seance with a bunch of friends or kick them out of your basement with the help of Archangel Michael or some other method.

Depending on how you feel about interacting with them personally, you can either call in a paranormal research group or try to investigate it yourself. If you choose to call in someone else, just Google paranormal investigators. Any real, reliable group, while they may accept donations, will not charge you.

If you want to do it yourself, the best 2 tools you can have is a camcorder and an audio recorder. Sit and ask questions with the audio recorder, pausing to get responses. You won't likely hear the responses with your ears but may be surprised at what the audio recorder turns up. These are called EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomena). With the camcorder, just set it up in your basement and leave it recording overnight or during the time you notice them do be most active. You can also leave the audio recorder as well, to just record on it's own to pick up any sounds in addition to your Q & A session.

Na, just playin... for real though, if you really have 5 ghost in your basement then you should go down there with a tape recorder or DVR (Digital voice recorder) and ask them some questions like... Why are you here? What are your names? Do you need help moving on or are you here because you choose to be? Etc... Take photo's as well and see if you get anything strange in them, be sure to ask them to show there selves in the photo's. Good Luck!!!

why do you need to do anything? Are they bothering you, or hurting you or family members? if not then just agree to be roommates. if they are then find a good medium and see if they can ask them why they are still hanging around. The ghosts may not even know they are supposed to have moved on. Or they may just need to relay a message and then they can move on.

not trying to be a smart ***... but ...
i believe in paranormal activity and there is a reason or two why they may not have crossed over.... but i love the show "ghost hunters" on sci-fi.....
people actually call them to come check out there homes...... check into it if your really serious about this.... I'd love to see you on the show... lol good luck

It depends on what they are doing. If they are setting things on fire you might have to get them to leave. If they are writing accurate treasure maps to where the doubloons, diamonds, emeralds, rubies, pearls, etc. are, and are advising you (correctly) on your love life, you might want to keep them around... and offer them some angel food cake... or of course, "spirits".
