...one of the best adaptions of a Stephen King novel, "The Stand" is still most readily available; in fact, it was just reissued in a special collection, accompanied with "The Langoliers", as well as "Stephen King's Gold Years". I have noted the Amazon webpage below, for your reference, but I believe that it would be most readily available at stores like Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.

As a huge Stephen King fan, The Stand is one of the better adaptations of a Stephen King novel thus far. It's the ultimate story of good versus evil. Walmart should definitely have it in stock. You should purchase the book as well.(it's always better)

The Stand is pretty good. I bought it for my son several years ago when he was really into King. It's one of the better King movies, I think (it's a mini-series).

I think you may have to look for it online, though. I'm sure there are King fans out there still buying it. Try Amazon.

I really like it. I found my copy at Wal-Mart in one of those bargin bins. Like others above me said, if you can't find it at Wal-Mart, just try Amazon.

I loved it! It's one of my favorites. Have you ever read the book? You'll love that 10x as much.
