As a huge Stephen King fan, The Stand is one of the better adaptations of a Stephen King novel thus far. It's the ultimate story of good versus evil. Walmart should definitely have it in stock. You should purchase the book as well.(it's always better)

The Stand is pretty good. I bought it for my son several years ago when he was really into King. It's one of the better King movies, I think (it's a mini-series).
I think you may have to look for it online, though. I'm sure there are King fans out there still buying it. Try Amazon.

I really like it. I found my copy at Wal-Mart in one of those bargin bins. Like others above me said, if you can't find it at Wal-Mart, just try Amazon.
