I have to agree with "A Walk to Remember". It's labeled as a teen movie but I am 29 years old and I watch it every time I need a good cry. I don't know why I torture myself but it's one of those movies that make your heart flutter and make you wonder if there really are really guys like that out there.
Hope you girls have a wonderful night! Have fun and be safe!

Hi! You might of seen it, but I suggest the Titanic! Highly, highly, HIGHLY, recommend it! It's a very sad and romantic movie! If you're looking for more of a sad movie, I suggest A Woman in Berlin( Ein Frau in Berlin) , (It's in Russian and German with subtitles, but still very good!) It's more of a dramatic and sad movie, to be quite honest. So maybe not that. But it has a bit of romance in it. It's about the Russian's invading Berlin in 1945 and how this one woman, (true story, based on her diary) Anonymous, (Her name was never mentioned and kept a secret for her safety) survived the mass rape of the Russians. It might seem a little like, "Uhhh? Why would I watch a movie about rape?!" but trust me, it's a very good movie! It made me cry a little, (I don't cry often, lol) Another good romantic movie is Pearl Harbor. I LOVE that movie! Very sad and romantic. It's about these two guys who were friends since kids enlist in the Army and one of them falls in love with a Navy Nurse and they soon start a relationship. The guy who fell in love (Rafe) goes to England because he volunteered for the Royal Air Force and is presumed to be shot down in the ocean and killed while in a plane. After he is said to be killed, his best friend Danny, ends up falling in love with the Navy Nurse, Evelyn. I'll leave you to figure out the rest ;) The Bridge to Teribitha (Yeah, it's a kids movie, so what) That movie is really touching though! The two kids have a crush on each other, so I guess I would consider that romance, lol.

If you want sad, Titanic is of course a classic.
The Notebook is a great romantic movie. It's sweet but not too sad.
My Best Friend's Wedding is funny and sad.
Hope this helps!

The Bridges of Madison County is the best. I mean...seriously. And of course with Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood, the acting was superb.
On that note...Out of Africa...Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. Goodness, what a lucky woman. (I mean for her blessings of the hunkiest leading men, not for the outcome of either movie.
The Notebook is sad and not sad. It depends on how you feel about it. I thought the ending was brilliant and beautiful.
Message in a Bottle, City of Angels...to me, waste of time. No reason for the deaths.
The English Patient. Great movie, romantic SAD!
