What is your weapon of choice when approaching a rootbeer float, spoon or straw?

Straw and then spoon. With a partner to take care of the foamy mustache. The guy you have to be kindest to is the Fed Ex delivery man...he's bringing fudge.

Definitely a spoon.
I had a personal spoon made the spoon part is bigger than the size of a table spoon but it has a really long handle.

During the summer, I just dive in with slurping as much in my mouth as possible. If it's not too hot outside? I use a spoon!!
