Well, this is an interesting point you are bringing up. One word that everyone seems to spell incorrectly is Czechoslovakia. They think it is spelled Checkolclovokia because of the way it is pronounced. Another word is aisle. Everyone I ask spells it isle. Another word is kaleidoscope. People often spell is kalidoscope, ignoring the silent "e". I hope I helped!
