The part that I do is I call in a plumber, electrician, mechanic or whichever trade is good at what my situation is.
My finger gets appropriate exercise in toughing the buttons on the phone, the work usually gets done much sooner than I could complete it and the problem is much less likely to recur if done by a professional.
Not only that it saves me much undue frustration and it circulates money back into the economy which is good for the nation as a whole.
Now the plumber can afford to get Christmas gifts for everyone and that in turn employs the people at the stores so they can do the same and afford to go to dentists, doctors and Nurses as they may need .
It all comes full circle when any of them spend a few bucks then with me and we can start the cycle all over again.

I usually try thing's my self and if I'm going no where after a while I just call someone for help. Sometimes you need to learn through errors, and other's it's just best to ask for help.

They only help I need is finding the right self-help book. I asked the girl at the book store and she was like "You want help finding a self-help book? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose?"
