Why do fat people sue McDonalds and win? Its their choice to eat there everyday.

P.S. I hate McDonalds but its not fair for fat people to sue them for their faults.

yea i agree, no one forced any one to eat there, people eat there by choice, some people will often blame others for their own weaknesses, instead of taking the blame for their own bad habits, if you get fat , change eating habits and exercise don't blame others, i have had to change eating habits and start exercising about a year and a half ago, i lost forty pounds but i did not blame anyone, i took responsibility and did something about it

We have more attorneys in the US than any other place in the universe. Someone has covinced these litigants that Ronald McDonald has held a virtual gun to their heads to force them to eat 3000 big macs. We are a fast food culture and McDonalds has fostered the myth that "we're lovin' it"

I don't know about they winning,
The most famous case was the sisters who were obese by eating mcdonald and then sue them for it
they didn't win the case
the thing with americans is they tend to sue...a lot! and they don't wanna take responsibilities for their own actions...

Because McDonalds have money and people don't want to take responsibility for their own actions so it is a transfer of guilt.

I've only heard one case of someone suing McDonald's over obesity and it got tossed. I think this is an urban legend.
