I agree with you, but the powerful always exert more influence. I try to vote for the man, but I'm beginning to understand at 52 years old that: 1) the Republican party is not for the people, it's for corporations. There is a minority for rule of law and the Constitution, but it's mostly a party of the elite 2) The Democrats are not above using corporations and WILL become in debt to them and owe them.......but I would rather have someone WITHOUT the innate urge to be royalty and will trust (until something better comes along) a person who is trying to survive even if he becomes corrupted along the way....at least he has a conscience.

To "shuddup Libs" it has been, only you refuse to believe it

OMG PEOPLE YTOUR TAKING IT SO WRONG!!!

He means the the Constitution is just the laws written down, he knows the laws!!! He means that it's up to us to enfore the laws... It's really not the Constitution that's important, it's the laws in the Constution. Stop making up stuff about Pres Bush cussing ands saying "goddamn". I'm sick of pople saying he's a dick too. He's not. Before he can do anything the liberals jump on him and spread fake stories. Leave the man alone!! Would you seriously want Hilary CLinton to become president and ruin our country jsut because she's a democrat? The way poeple who do "hate" Bush are saying that it's so called "proof" that Republicans shouldn't be in charge... Well we have the Democrats in charge of Congress, and look at what's that got us!! What I'm saying is don't listen to fake lies, and then sread them around and make other poeple think that lie too.

In fact, the Constitution is far more than 'outmoded,' according to President Bush who rebuffed GOP leader's request to soft pedal some parts of the 'Patriot Act' by saying: "I don't give a goddamn . . . I'm the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way." Then, responding to an aide who stated: "There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution." Bush screamed back: "Stop throwing the Constitution in my face . . . It's just a goddamned piece of paper!"(8)

Thought I'd post the whole quote.

If this isn't enough for some, then goggle it yourself.

The constitution is basically a contract and given the right lawyer, any contract can be broken in court.
