and God has built you your perfect dream home to live the rest of eternity in. What would this place be like for you. What is the perfect place to spend forever for you? How would you spend it?

As for myself, I would probably like to wander around and explore. Carry a large backpack with everything I need. Maybe I would have a small house in a forest where I could rest every now and then.

because this isn't a religious question as I am just wondering what people think of as perfect. If perfect is rotting underground then that's his choice. When we read novels, we know they are fake but can still enjoy thinking about them. This is not about religion at all.

plus if I put this in R&S people just want to quote verses from various texts and not answer the question. I am asking your version of perfect and not what you believe to be the actual paradise (or rotting underground if you prefer)

I would want a big mansion with 20 bedrooms and a giant pool. A master kitchen with and in the living room a plasma tv and a big bar that has all the drinks in the world. A big library with all the books ever written and a Ferrari to stroll around. I would be happy at first but then you know what? Living there for all eternity apart from the Earth is sad. I wouldn't like it and would probably ask God to let me live again.

Perfection would be familiarity
It would not be the house itself or the objects within it but the association the objects would have with the former life.
My perfect place would not just be for me, it would be open to everyone.
It would be open to the dull and to the exciting
And I would serve tea and biscuits every day
And no one would ever be worried about outstaying their welcome.
Because no one ever would.
And then I would have a little room to myself for when I want to sit and cry about everything that was left behind, because I wouldn't want anyone else seeing me sad.

I don't believe in heaven much by the way.

My perfect dream home will be the one I grew up in. It may not be a fancy mansion or big castle, but it's home.
