10 Mexican pesos is about $0.93 in US money.
In Dominican Republic pesos, its $0.30 and in Columbia- well $1 here is about 2,000 pesos. You can exchange money at the bank or an airport.

You have to be more specific because several nations use a currency called the peso. There are Dominican Pesos, Mexican Pesos, Chilean Pesos, Argentine Pesos, and so on... Do a search in a directory to find a local currency exchange.

This does not answer the question, but wow, your avatar is my twin! Anyway, a peso in Mexico is not the same as a peso in, say, the Phillipines. The rate varies around the world. Currently it's about 10 pesos to a dollar.
