When I was 5 years old I could. I had polio, putting my legs behind my head was one of my Physical Therapy exercises. When I came home from the hospital I was so flexible and limber I could twist my body into a pretzel if I tried. Wish I had kept up my exercises! I'm 63 now and can't even bend over to tie my shoes.

In a sense, yes. I can't put my foot immediatly behind my head, but I can put my leg in a position that is behind my head.

I'm not THAT flexible! I think that is really scary! But whoever can put their leg behind their head, it's an addition for them. Something THEY CAN do that WE CAN'T do.

I used to be able to do it. I was really stretched from doing martial arts. But now, I had an severe injury and left me with a neuromuscular disease called RSD(Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) which is robbing me of my mobility.
