a diaphragm is considered to be quite unreliable ( i think only 70-75% effective) the type of contraception allowed by the catholic church is working out from your monthly cycle when u are least fertile and only havin sex on those days.. but to be honest just go get the contraceptive injection... then u dont have to worry for 7 months ( well roughly) go talk to your gp abput it :-) xx

Creams and jellies are not reliable, if used on their own. They are generally used as a backup to the male or female condom. Rhythm is also very unreliable. Rhythm means you figure out the days when you are most fertile, and just don't have sex on those days. Rhythm in the only method of contraceptive that is accepted by the catholic church. (the really REALLY strict ones).

The calendar method is also unreliable. That's where a woman charts her cycle for several months and abstains from sex during certain periods (peak days). It's unreliable because some women's cycles are so irregular that peak days cannot be determined with any certainty. The catholic church allows periodic abstinence and infertility caused by breast feeding.

Do your own homework. Check your course notes, textbook and the reading you were supposed to do. I'm sure the answer is there.
