the only problem would incorporate age. As a guy if i was dating a girl in her 20's and she was still a virgin, you seem to take on a huge responsibility when taking her virginity. I would say, it depends on how long youve been dating, and it's a commitment one wants to make. The virgin factor doesnt matter otherwise, if you care enough about the person you are hangin with.

I knew a man who was a close to being a virgin as possible (he'd had sex two times when he was 18, and none since then ... he was 39 when we met. He said he was 'waiting until he found his 'one and only one woman for the rest of (his) life.' I'd been married three times, had grown kids and was expecting my first grandchild. I was actually JEALOUS of that 'one woman' because she would take my best friend away from me. I didn't even know we were 'going together' until we did the ONE THING that he said he would NEVER do until ... and I laughed so hard I fell out of bed because I'd been jealous of MYSELF. We are now planning our 11th wedding anniversary (Valentine's Day) ... and I'd have to tell you that NO, it does NOT matter if you have had sex before ... what MATTERS is that you don't want to have sex with ANYONE ELSE AGAIN for the REST OF YOUR LIFE.

Nope. Sex really isn't a big deal (at least to me). And any 24 year old female virgins in my eyes are girls that are probably less likely to go sleeping around with other guys behind my back.

Well, it's kinda like going with someone to Disneyland for the
first time. It's still great the second or the twentieth time,
but it can never be like the first.

the only reason it would matter would be the fact that they could have come into contact with STD's. Be sure your partner is tested, if they have had multiple partners. (Even 1 other partner)

actually it depends on how you feel about your partner not being a virgin. For me I would go for what my heart was saying and if he didn't have any STDs. And if he was not in the relationship just for sex.

The older you get the chances of meeting someone who still is a virgin diminish as you go. Besides I would much rather be with someone who is honest, and treats me with respect, becasue i treat them with the same...To me those are much more important issues

Well I'm gay. I would prefer it if my partner was a virgin like me, but I guess it's good to have experience.

No. If it did, you may be alone for a long time. It only matters that it is yours now. Use it wisely. Or it will be someone else's. Good luck.

Would you please define "partner" for the rest of us. I'm a bit confused. If you mean marriage partner one would hope that the marriage had been consumated, and therefore neither partner would no longer be virgin. What kind of partner? Please elaborate.
