Oathbreaking used to be a serious thing. Nowadays, people laugh at you if you expect someone to keep a promise sworn before God.

Personally, I think our Democracy would work a lot better if the voters asked candidates if they really believe in it.

I am not saying that he deserves to die or anything... Murder is "wrong". But I don't believe I would convict the guy who did it should I end up on the jury.
