No what she is saying is why don't they have a sixth grader go on the show and compete against the fifth graders.

Maybe because they haven't thought of it. You should try and pitch it to them. I think you also have to be a certain age. They should have a 5th grade teacher go on there. Now that'd be cool!

Hence the title: 'Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader'. Think about it, you will figure it out.

As one of the kids or a contestant? As one of the kids, I don't need to tell you why they don't put a sixth grader on for that role. As a contestant, generally you have to be 18 to be on a game show and win prizes, unless it's a game show just for kids. Laws with paying back taxes and such.

It's not called "Are You Smarter Than a SIXTH Grader?"

because then they'd have to call it "are you smarter than a 6th grader." and its about fifth graders

That show creeps me out. I can answer most Jeopardy questions but I get those wrong on 5th grader.
I wish the host was Dolly Parton though- make it easier to watch.

Dude, that's a great question for which I have no answer. Let's get a petition going and send it to Howie.

It'd cost too much to change the name of the show
